A più voci (Quaderno proibito) is a theatrical performance in four episodes, each of which takes place in a private home or a non-theatrical space and revolves around the relationship between domestic work and creativity. Each episode deals with a specific theme, and the private homes chosen as performance venues become fundamental elements of the story, transforming themselves into open spaces visited by outsiders.

Co-produced by E Production, Periferico Festival and ZONA K, A più voci (Quaderno proibito) is a special project realised by the playwright Tolja Djokovic that saw the involvement of a large community of women from the city of Modena, where a participatory workshop was held starting in June, and that also feeds on the contribution of other women from the cities where it is staged.

Each episode of the series is unique and develops on the basis of the experiences and stories shared during the workshop meetings. The result is a choral process that questions domestic work and the forms in which art manifests itself, seeking new perspectives on the role of women in society and the definition of the woman artist. A più voci (Quaderno proibito) reflects on the concepts of home and domestic work, which can be experienced as sources of pain and frustration but also as reservoirs of skills, energy and vitality.
