Urban Stories brings together three urban performance projects, realised and presented in 2021.<\/p>\n

Fase Nove\/\/Assolo urbano
\n<\/strong>[90-minute urban walk for one person at a time]<\/p>\n

Previously produced and presented last year, in 2021 Fase Nove\/\/Assolo urbano<\/em> is re-proposed with some modifications and improvements. The walking tour goes through 9 cultural spaces in the centre of Milan, key places in the city’s culture, accompanied by interviews with artists and experts in cultural promotion, and questions our relationship with culture and its need to exist.<\/p>\n

The walk was presented to the audience from 21 September to 3 October 2021<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>[podcast]<\/p>\n

I Bohe\u0301mien<\/em><\/p>\n

retraces some of the stages in the history of the Brera District and the young artists who lived there in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.<\/p>\n

The project was born thanks to the encouragement of the Brera Academy as part of the didactic project La Boh\u00e8me, which ran throughout the 20\/21 academic year. While continuing as an autonomous production, the involvement of some students and ex-students of the Academy was maintained, who worked together with the playwright Luca Scarlini and the sound designer Luca De Marinis.<\/p>\n

The podcast was presented to the audience on 18 and 19 December 2021.<\/p>\n

The Walks<\/strong><\/p>\n

[Audioguide collection]<\/p>\n

Nine short audio guides for urban walks collected in an app created ad hoc by the award-winning Berlin-based collective Rimini Protokoll. Each track corresponds to a different walk that invites you to rediscover and interact with the urban environment. The title of each walk indicates the type of place in which to walk: Park, Water, Roundabout, Cemetery, Theatre, Street, Supermarket, Traffic Light, etc. In this case the audio content is not tied to a specific city: the stories and soundscapes of the audio guides can be heard anywhere in the world. The Walks<\/em> connects people around the globe in a local experience through the human act of walking, understood as a theatrical action. In each city, voices, sounds and music transform familiar places into stages and landscapes into sets: through narrations, dialogic situations, choreographic explorations or rhythmic and musical variations of walking.<\/p>\n

The audioguides have been presented to the audience from 8 September 2021.<\/p>\n

The two urban walks with audio guide and the podcast project are the result of an in-depth study of audio and urban modalities, of the desire to explore new forms of artistic research, based on a careful analysis of the territory, on the activation and participation of citizens, on the proposal to experience urban spaces in a different way and on the application of audio technology to the proposed contents.<\/p>\n
